Join Troop 142!
Troop 142 offers camping and outdoor activities, along with a challenging advancement program. On your way to earning the rank of Eagle Scout, you will develop skills and abilities within a patrol of your fellow Scouts. We welcome boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. Troop 142 achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. To join,
complete a Boy Scout application and health history signed by your parent or guardian. Repeat the Pledge of Allegiance. Demonstrate the Scout sign, salute, and handshake. Demonstrate tying the square knot. Understand and agree to live by the Scout Oath or Promise, Law, motto, and slogan, and the Outdoor Code. Describe the Scout badge. Turn in your Boy Scout application and health history form signed by your parent or guardian, then participate in a Troop 142 Scoutmaster conference.
