Patrols - Frisco Troop 142

Each Scout that is a member of Troop 142 is part of a patrol. The patrol is the basis from which leadership begins. Each patrol has a Patrol Leader that is elected by the members of that patrol. Patrol Leaders are trained following BSA guidelines. Toop 142 Adult Leadership is a strong proponent of the BSA’s Aims and Methods of Scouting. Troop 142 will encourage the patrol method during our weekly meetings and in the planning and structure of our monthly camp outs.

Boy Scout Troop 142 in Frisco, Texas was established in 2007. We are chartered by Water's Edge Lutheran Church. Troop 142, like our charter organization, is seriously committed to making a difference in the North Texas Community. Scouts in Troop 142 will often participate in community service related activities such as, but not limited to volunteering time to serve our community, nature revitalization projects, collecting and donating personal items, and Scouting for Food, an annual Boy Scouts of America sponsored program to collect food for the hungry.
